I only started female ejaculating within the last few years, though I do remember an incident that might have been ejaculation in my teens. For me, it happens rarely, usually alone, and only with one toy-- the infamous crystal S wand. The first time I squirted was a huge shock. I noticed a huge quantity of fluid on the bed that made a rather sizable wet spot. By the way, I have never actually squirted per se -- it is more like a gush.
My first thought was maybe I had peed the bed! However, the fluid was clear and odorless. I left the sheets unchanged and came back later to see if there was an ammonia smell (a sign of urine). Not only could I not smell anything; the sheets had dried to the point where the spot was invisible. I was pretty sure it was female ejaculation.
I kind of agree with Betty Dodson that female ejaculation is over-rated and over-emphasized in popular culture. I have never noticed an ejaculating orgasm being any better than one without the squirting. I am glad that Dr. Joy Davidson acknowledges that fact in this video. Too much of the time women are made to feel like sex nerds for not falling in line with the latest porn-inspired trends in bonking. This is a really good video that explains some key information about the G spot and female ejaculation.
I have to emphasize that both of the these issues continue to be controversial. A recent study of identical twins made headlines by claiming that the G spot was bullshit. The study was conducted by King's College in London and surveyed over 1,800 women. Most of the women who reported having a G spot were younger and had more active sex lives.
The researchers asserted that because identical twins share the same genetic heritage, the G spot should occur in both twins. That didn't turn out to be the case. G spot proponent Beverly Whipple claimed that the study was flawed and failed to take in account the role of sexual experiences (either alone or with a partner) in shaping a woman's awareness of her G spot. She has a point. Let's face facts: some of us have short fingers, bad lovers, and lousy toy collections. So, life history has to be at least as important as genetics in our experience of any body part. Anyway, I'll shut now and let Dr Joy explain the G.
